Dr. Gupta is now a retired professor, who served various educational institutes in India, starting from a very prestigious institute such as Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, and then moving to Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, where he remained for a quite long time till his retirement. Thereafter, he served Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Meerut, as its Director-cum-Distinguished professor of Pharmaceutical Science, and then finally shifted to National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal, a central Government Institute, functioning under Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, from where he retired in 2015. Now he has shifted to the USA, where he is associated with an up-coming biometrics company, OptiML Vision Inc., Newark, CA.

Dr. Bindu Sharma

Her extensive fundamental research is on the biology of fish parasites and their Molecular Taxonomy. She did her Ph.D., Mphil from CCS University Meerut, and has a teaching and research experience of about more than 30 years. She has completed various research projects from UGC and CST Lucknow. She has published many research papers in various National and International Journals. She has published 6 books and contributed 10 chapters in National and International books and journals. She was awarded a Visiting Fellowship from DST in the year 2002. She was awarded the Best Scientist Award in the year 2018 by the Society of Life Science She was also awarded the Amrita Devi Vishnoi Medal in 2020 by the Zoological Society of India for outstanding contribution to Parasitology.

Dr. Pranjal Chandra, MNASc

Dr. Pranjal Chandra is currently employed as Assistant Professor and principal investigator at School of Biochemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India. He heads Bio-Physio Sensors and Nanoboengineering laboratory. He earned his Ph.D. from Pusan National University, South Korea, and did post-doctoral training at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Israel. He has published over 85 research articles in reputed journals and 4 books. He is also a visiting scientist/ professor at IBST, South Korea. Dr. Chandra’s research contributions are highly interdisciplinary, spanning a wide range in nanobiotechnology, nanobiosensors, lab-on-chip systems for biomedical diagnostics, and nanomedicine. He is the recipient of many prestigious awards and fellowships such as; Ramanujan fellowship and Early Career Research Award (Government of India), BK -21 and NRF fellowship of South Korea, Technion post-doctoral fellowship, Israel, University of Montreal Post-doc fellowship, Canada, NMS Young scientist Award (2016), etc.
