Victor Hugo C. de Albuquerque [M’17, SM’19] is a professor and senior researcher in the Department of Teleinformatics Engineering (DETI)/Graduate Program in Teleinformatics Engineering (PPGETI) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Brazil. He earned a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (2010) and an M.Sc. in teleinformatics engineering from PPGETI/UFC (2007). He completed a B.S.E. in mechatronics engineering at the Federal Center of Technological Education of Ceará (2006). He specializes in image data science, IoT, machine/deep learning, pattern recognition, automation and control, and robotics.

Professor at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice, Poland. His main scientific interests are neural networks with their applications together with various aspects of applied computational intelligence. He is a scientific supervisor in editions of ”the Diamond Grant” and ”the Best of the Best” programs for highly talented students from the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. He participated in various scientific projects (as lead investigator and scientific investigator or participant) at polish and Italian universities. Dr. Tanveer Hussain

Dr. João Batista Furlan Duarte

Dr. Duarte Graduated with Full Degree in Physics from the Federal University of Santa Maria-RS (1993), a Master in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (1995), and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (1998). He is currently a Full Professor at the University of Fortaleza. He has experience in Physics, with an emphasis on heat transfer, thermal and thermodynamic processes, working mainly on the following topics: computer systems with an emphasis on applied computing, combustion in porous media, and computational mechanics. Leader of the research group in Combustion Technology and Leader of the research group in Oil and Gas and Energy Systems was the project coordinator of RECOGAS / PETROBRAS, was representative of the National Combustion Network Northeast, he was a scholarship holder for productivity in technology innovation by CNPq (National Research Council) and works in projects to improve energy efficiency in medium and large industries. He is a professor in the Graduate Program in Applied Informatics. He has a patent granted and another under analysis in the area of combustion processes.

Dr Kulvinder Kaur

Dr. Kaur is the scientific director of Dr. Kulvinder Kaur Centre for Human Reproduction, Jalandhar, Punjab, India, where she manages the complicated cases of infertility. She graduated from LHMC Delhi in 1980 topping in medicine in all 3 medical colleges thereby getting the DR Devi Chand Gold medal from the late PM Smt Indira Gandhi & also topped in all the MBBS subjects prior to that eg. anatomy, pathology, biochem etc making her basics sound & later she managed the endocrine clinic in PGI Chandigarh during her MD days. Following that she reported the 40th world case hydrometrocolpos working in Saudi Arabia & has been working in the field of neuroendocrinology of obesity. GnRH control along with role of kisspeptins, prokinetics in human reproduction, AIDS & Cancer –during this period she managed to successfully treat the first case of non-gestational choriocarcinoma of uterine body in a young girl medically thereby preserving her fertility-the first case in world literature of its kind.

Dr. Huachao Yang was in 2021 appointed Research Fellow (equivalent Assistant Professor) at Zhejiang University. He is now working at the College of Energy Engineering and State Key Laboratory of Clean Energy Utilization. He received his Ph.D. degree from Zhejiang University in 2018. He was a postdoctoral research associate at Zhejiang University from 2018 to 2021. His research interests include nanoscale heat and mass transfer, multiscale simulation (density functional theory and molecular dynamics simulation), and two-dimensional nanomaterials for energy storage and thermal management applications. Dr. Sudhaunshu Purohit

Dr. Purohit has always been keen on research involving analytical techniques and method development/validation processes. He contributed to many inter-departmental collaborative research projects during his Ph.D. with the Department of Physics, Department of Civil-Mechanical Engineering, and School of Pharmacy at UMKC. The projects incorporated spectroscopy as the principal analytical tool. He employed techniques such as FTIR & Raman to obtain spectra of organic molecules in solid, liquid & gaseous states for structural determination and conformational studies which also included computational modeling using Gaussian software. He applied solid-state NMR, UV-Vis & FT-IR spectroscopies for structural determination of Boron Carbide thin films (synthesized by the PECVD method) and supplementary cementitious material. He also, utilized multinuclear, solution & solid-state NMR techniques for qualitative and quantitative identification of pharmaceutical drug molecules.
